“ If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would! The best brunch I’ve ever had, no question. We LOVE food, are from San Diego, and THIS PLACE IS AT THE TOP. Must try. The breakfast sandwich, Turkish eggs with steak, and the French toast, ALL OF IT WAS MICHELIN quality, every single bite. Service and atmosphere excellent as well. ”
“ Wow, I am truly amazed by this place! It may be small, but it’s an absolute gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The moment I stepped inside, I was struck by the charming ambiance that made the dining experience feel special. The food was not only delicious but also nutritious, presenting unique flavors that I hadn't encountered before—all in the best way possible. I have a real passion for exploring various types of cuisine, especially new restaurants, and this one certainly delivered. Cris, my server, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I started my meal with the Everyday Coffee , which had a delightful functional mushroom add-on that intrigued my taste buds, alongside a wellness shot of fire cider that packed quite the punch. For my main course, I indulged in the Lady Edison ham paired with creamy burrata, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The combination of flavors was exquisite, leaving me wanting more. Dessert was a revelation; I opted for the Greek Yogurt Panna Cotta, which was simply divine—light, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened. I must admit, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach! I couldn’t resist trying the Coffee Cajeta Bread Pudding , and it did not disappoint. The rich, decadent flavors were absolutely mouthwatering and left me in a state of pure delight. I am already planning my return visit and can’t wait to share this incredible find with my friends and family! ”
“ What an amazing breakfast, the food is full of flavor and the drinks are outstanding. Atelier Manna is a must try and go back to restaurant. Join the waitlist as soon as possible as you may have a wait for walkups. One last note, the staff is as amazing as the food. ”
“ The best breakfast downtown. This may seem like an overstatement, but this little restaurant is a darn dandy place to eat. With dishes from all over the world, they do not disappoint, although they are slightly costly (for your first time you MUST get the Turkish eggs). Don’t be scared by the tonics on the back of the menu, they are super unique and flavorful. The staff (especially the charismatic bearded fellow are super warm and friendly and are more than happy to help you with your questions and give good suggestions. We are always heading here every once in a while because they tend to change their food items every once in a while and their drink menu once every two weeks. ”
“ You know those really good restaurants, where majority of their dishes are exemplary and then you’d find one or two that are just meh or might not work? Well, Atelier Manna is *NOT* one of those restaurants, I have been 4 times and tried pretty much majority of their menu items and they *NEVER* had any miss. All their dishes are delicious, interesting, complex, nuanced and beautiful to look at. The only disappointment is that there could be something that you love on the menu and it might have been taken out of the menu the next time you go. BUT it’s fine you get to try new stuff! ”
“ We ordered the Turkish eggs, greek yogurt panna cotta, and a pork dish — every bite delivered. The eggs were perfectly runny and rich, the panna cotta was light and not too sweet, and the pork was packed with flavor. Even our picky teens cleaned their plates. Service was quick and friendly. If you’re in San Diego, put this place at the top of your list. ”
“ Atelier Manna is one of our favorite places for lunch and brunch in San Diego! They have a carefully and thoughtfully planned out seasonable menu that changes often, so it’s always worth visiting again and again. We’ve always been happy with the warm and welcoming service and excellent food. The waitlist system online works great. Just join in advance, be nearby, and you’ll be seated. Highly reccomend checking the website to see how long the wait will be to plan your visit. They’re popular for all the right reasons. Can’t wait to be back! ”
“ Worth the wait! We had the Turkish eggs and the Terrine, as well as the Oxblood and Antigua tonics, and all were perfectly balanced, portioned, and beautifully presented. The service was also INCREDIBLE! Our waiter was so friendly and informative, offering great recommendations and even a refill of some fresh warm sourdough. We’ll be back soon to try out more of the rotating menu. On a Saturday morning, I put a party of 2 on the online waitlist at 8:30 and we were seated around 10:30. It’s also pretty easy to park around the area! ”
